I am vaguely done with the modeling, but the animation will take a little longer: [link]

I may need some possible material settings to help me.

I am making Gift Art for various people with Christmas fastly approaching and my watchers are prioritized. I can make anything with Blender, Inkscape or just a clean set of pencils.

Name anything (relatively appropriate).

hmm ^^

how 'bout.... hmm
a christmas-present-packing-machine-animation in blender ^^

That will be a challenge, but I'm sure I'll be able to do it.

Just one thing: How to I export the movie as a .gif file?
:iconfenglong:
woooaaah thats a good one.

as recommended in a blender-manual i downloaded VirtualDub. u just export the blender animation as AVI(raw). Then you load this one in VirtualDub. If you like you can add a soundline to this avi (in case u exported a soundline for your blendermovie as well ^°;) or you just can export it as gif animation. Dunno if it works but it has the ability =D

Short version:
Export AVI(raw) with blender

Load in Virtual Dub

Okay, thanks. I'll try that. I'll let you know if I have any problems. I'll upload a still picture of the machine once I've finished modeling so you can get a glimpse before I animate it.

This is going to be a biiiiiig project...

We don't have Blender manuals in Australia (no, seriously). You are so lucky to have one.
